Summary/Abstract: The article analyzes a cooperation program aimed at improving Polish capabilities in the fi eld of military strategic air transport. The C-17 Strategic Airlift Capability (SAC) program and the activities of the Strategic Airlift Wing related to it were identified. The Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland are not able to meet their own needs in the fi eld of strategic air transport on their own, and participation in international programs makes it possible to obtain such capability. The aim of the article is to identify the management and organizational units of the C-17 Strategic Air Transport Capability Program and the Strategic Airlift Wing in Papa, Hungary, responsible for securing and implementing strategic air transport for the armed forces of the program participants.
