Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to lay out the concept of language of the early Walter Benjamin. It is highlighted the presence in this concept of some ideas of the Jewish tradition and its correlation to a Benjamin’s conception of history, which is using theological notions. At the same time, the text leaves aside the question of the theological relevance of Benjamin’s reflections on language and seeks to outline the specific figure of thought that is formed in them. It is proposed the interpretation that Benjamin anticipates the critique of logocentrism, insisting that the language is not subordinated of an expressed of it sense, but rather, the sense itself is an effect of a positioning in the language understood as a network of mutual references.
