SPRAWOZDANIE Z MIĘDZYNARODOWEJ KONFERENCJI NAUKOWO-SZKOLENIOWEJ „W POSZUKIWANIU PRAWDY I CZŁOWIECZEŃSTWA W DOBIE WOJNY” LESZNO, 21 - 26.08.2022 ROKU

Summary/Abstract: The war in Ukraine changed the face of modern Europe. On the one hand a real threat appeared, caused by the expansion of Russian troops into the area Ukraine, on the other hand, resulted in mass escapes, mainly of women and children, from areas affected by military operations. By August 2022, decided the majority, i.e. over 90% of the refugees, were located in Poland. Psychologists, psychotherapists, doctors, educators, teachers or employees social workers – both Ukrainian and Polish – had to face the unprecedented before, the undertaking of helping people in times of war. Both helping those who stayed fighting for a free Ukraine, and those who were forced run away. There was therefore a real need for an international organization a conference during which the topics of challenges would be addressed, in particular in the area of broadly understood emotional support, including for: refugees, civilians and military who remained in Ukraine and people providing assistance to these groups.
