Summary/Abstract: The article presents the thought of blessed Antonio Rosmini, who claimed that the community between people and God is based on a universal being, while the social bond is constituted by the communion of goods. Moreover, for the community to exist it is essential to establish intellectual and moral ties and have the common good as its purpose. The author discusses three communities whose basis is the metaphysical perception of a person, and which are crucial for the full development of the person. Priority in this regard is given to the Church, which is the most complete society. In the Church, humanity finds refinement and elevation. As a result of the research, it was found that Rosmini is a supporter of cooperation between the Church, the state and other social factors. The second community presented in the article is the family perceived in the light of natural law. It consists of a conjugal community, which reaches its fullness through the sharing of all goods, and a parental one, thanks to which the conjugal community obtains a new relationship. The author shows that, according to Rosmini, the third necessary community – civic – is not born in a spontaneous and natural way, and its subject is not the rights of the person, but the way they are regulated. It performs a subsidiary function for other communities.
