Summary/Abstract: The Central Library of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (CL BAS) is a National Center in Special Bibliography in Bulgaria from 1957. Up to 2000 were made more than 100 specialized and subject bibliographies, as well as bio-bibliographies. It has been recorded bibliographically the whole publication activity of the Academy. After 1990 CL BAS joined relatively fast the paradigm of the new information technologies and carried out an optimal synergy between the bibliography, library collections and their full-text content.
