Summary/Abstract: Oscillating between onirism and postmodernism, Ștefan Agopian created his own literary universe, easily recognizable, but difficult to be framed in a specific direction. We know for sure that there is a strong connection between life and literature, but we do not know for sure if the truth is in the books or in the real world. The world made of words wins in the end, or not? How can we separate reality from illusion? What are the exact connections between writer, story – teller and characters? Here are some questions that Agopian's novels try to answer. E.A. Poe’s question All that we see or seem / Is but a dream within a dream’? seems eternal.
