OUTDOOR EDUCATION AT SCHOOL AGE

Summary/Abstract: In this research I want to emphasize the interest of the target group (students, parents and teachers) for outdoor activities and to highlight the beneficial features of these activities for the cognitive, physical-mental, emotional development of children. The research sample consisted of 50 students from the "Mircea Sântimbreanu" Middle School in Brad, respectively their parents and two teachers. In the research we chose to use a complex methodology, which would highlight quantitative but also qualitative results. For this we chose as a research method the sociological investigation and three of its techniques: sociological observation, interview and questionnaire technique. In accordance with these techniques, the tools are: observation sheets, interview guides, questionnaires and photographs.
