Summary/Abstract: Chronicle notes are publishes from the Octoechos of the Begunovtsi Church “St. Nikolay” in the Begunovtsi village, Breznik region. They provide important information about various personalities and historical events in the Breznik region, some of them also in Sofia. The history of the place Begunovtsi is interesting. It was founded by residents of the nearby Nepraznentsi village, who were forced to move out due to anxiety and violence from passing Ottoman turks. In its new place the village was logically named Begunovtsi with two villages in the neighborhood: Dogandzhiyska and Voynichka.
