Summary/Abstract: This article analyzes the importance of managerial communication within organizations, the importance confirmed both by the managerial practice and by the numerous researches in the field. The theoretical aspects of managerial communication that play a vital role in increasing performance in public libraries are analyzed. The roles of managerial communication, forms of managerial communication, interference between managerial styles and communication styles, barriers to organizational communication and managerial communication are presented - the premise of increasing performance in public libraries.
