Summary/Abstract: Adrian Păunescu is a complete writer, one of his commonly approached themes being love. The volumes of his youth reflect love in an idealistic dimension (through the ideal couple), the two lovers, he and she are part of the same whole. Throughout time, the couple gets to know changes, the feeling is altered, canceled or, on the contrary, can face revival, intensification. As a result, love becomes diverse and the poet in love glides from melancholy to resignation, from a threatening and envious mood, to withdrawal. In the end, new resources are found in and for love, anyway. The outcome is, that, beyond all obstacles / in spite of all obstacles „love still exist” and it is really worth living.
