Summary/Abstract: This paper focuses on recordings as evidence in civil proceedings. Recordings — regardless of their form and content — may constitute documentary evidence. The study presents the issues related to the admission and the taking of recordings as evidence or the examination of their authenticity. The considerations — with particular emphasis on the issue of recordings — also concern the issue of illegal evidence.
