Summary/Abstract: This publication analyzes the results of a research survey on the formation and the subsequent changes in handwritten signatures, which was conducted in Bulgaria at the beginning of 2023. The author believes that the findings and the summarized results will increase the professional knowledge of the forensic handwriting experts and help in their work on pre-trial, penal and civil court cases.
