Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on one of the burning issues in the Polish and German relationships after 2022, namely teaching the German language among the German minority in Poland and teaching the Polish language among the Polish diaspora in Germany. The Polish government has recently limited financing the German language teaching among the German minority, which reduces the number of lessons from three to one weekly. At the same time, the Polish authorities demand the Polish language teaching for the Polish diaspora in Germany to be financed on a federal level and to establish the dedicated fund in the federal budget. The paper analyses the chosen Bundestag documents related to this issue and, to be precise, the two parliamentary questions (raised by AfD and CDU/CSU) with the governmental answers, as well as the two proposals considering the resolutions applied by the parties.
