Summary/Abstract: The article presents revolutionary violence against the population of the Bloke plateau in 1942. Similarly to other parts of the Province of Ljubljana, this too was violence directed at the actual or alleged opponents of the communist revolution. There were seven victims of revolutionary violence; craftsmen and farmers’ sons in terms of social status. Some cases of murders, robberies and arsons carried out by the Šercer battalion and the Šercer brigade are described.
