Serbian Library Association in Creative Europe – E-Routes Project

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the concept of the E-ROUTES project coordinated by the Serbian Library Association and supported by the Creative Europe program. Partners and associated partners in the project from four European countries ‒ Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and Italy ‒ are presented. Further, insight is given into the planned and already realized activities carried out within the framework of the intended goals and expected results of the project. Special attention is paid to current activities, a blog on the project website, and a crowdsourcing campaign with the intention of inviting interested individuals to contribute or take the opportunity to get involved. The paper highlights the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in the work of librarians on which the idea for the E-ROUTES project was based. The aim of this paper is to introduce the idea of the E-ROUTES project to the public, invite interested institutions, organizations, and individuals to join, as well as to bring the idea of project writing and application to international competitions and calls closer to the domestic professional public.
