Summary/Abstract: Nicolae Breban gives birth to a vitalist prose, from which a persuading force is felt that exerts a propel toward the extratexatexatexextal space, although the writing is of decisive importance. It is undisputed that tragism enters Nicolae Breban's prose, giving a serious note of seriousness, A prose first of all “of man” not of “language”, regardless of the process, or of the massive handling of derission and ambiguity. The achievement of tragedy, considered to be a supreme dimension of literature, makes us believe it is one of the novelist's staunchly wishes. The prose writer is imposed as one of the most important proponent of the age, or even one of the main innovators of the Romanian fiction prose. He cultivates an aesthetic formula and a literary ideology (applied) by a deep originality. Unequaled from a value point of view, his books with no remarkable exception were unjustifiably submitted to the contestations, exaggerated assessments of motives outside literature. Breban is, first of all, in his personal manner employed writer, a nonconformist, determined to transmit through literature what could be called a "humanist message". It is a personal and "new" humanism, similar to the means by which the writer mands narratives. Nicolae Breban's prose would be neither more nor less a postmodern writing stage, and the author's (self-declared) nietzscheanimate would be an argument for the postmodern "pedigree". A privileged place within the contemporary Romanian literature also won the great prodent Nicolae Breban who stands out by his approach in deepening and renewing the expression modalities of the psychological prose of investigation. This culture man recognizes the interest in the short prose, the nude representing the sense of perfection, of the form, of the musicality and of the dramatic sense, feeling besides this and an attraction for the fascination of the Romanian. Claims that he wants to mirror the world in its entirety, which is only possible in the larger dimensions of the novel. Being considered by the generation ’60 as a continuation of Balzac, Nicolae Breban is ambitious to achieve his own human comedy, because the main feature of his work is to aspire to a full. All these Romanians end up losing their bala-like character seen as a possible mirror of a human condition, namely a tangible utopia.
