Summary/Abstract: The night, the darkness, the unknown are elements that generate fear, which amplify the inner states up to the stage of terrible terror, of generalized panic, of paroxysm. The night is an integrated, integral and at the same time integrating part in the being of the characters, being part of their anatomical structure and, especially, of their spiritual composition. Their roots are anchored in the night, their ties with their ancestors are closed in the night and they are able to hear the shout that shapes and defines their becoming also in the night. History seems to repeat itself and predestination seems a condition that the characters cannot deny. This condemns them to the eternal repetition of pain, of terror, while the blood of their ancestors is the strongest bond.
