Summary/Abstract: The present paper will present the Romanian approach and translations of the Bologna Process into practice. The description of the Bologna Process and the European Higher Education Area will constitue the frame in which the Romanian higher education will try to find the best possible solutions to adapt. The legislative elements will clear the measures taken by the decisional factors for the compatibilization with the european criteria. In order to view a continuing line of working, the principle of the Working Plan Bologna 2009-2012 will be described. The conclusions will underline the missed elements from the implementation of the Lisbon Agend and some recommendations for better actions in this field from all involved actors.
