Summary/Abstract: In architecture, materialization produces an object. The territory, rather than the object, constitutes the subject of creation. The architectural concept is the idea that generates spatial organization, from which the design is elaborated; also, it gives the key in proper understanding of the work to be performed. The concept has to take into consideration that the result will not be received as an object, but as a situation. In each stage of the elaboration process, the idea can be read differently, and so, ideally, even the details emerge from the whole concept, which it reflects.
