Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the proprietary clause in the documents from the territory of Greater Poland in 12th-13th c. The author presented the editorial patterns of this clause and the chronology of its appearance on the analyzed documents. The conducted analysis leads to the conclusion that the proprietary clause was formalized in the same way as other parts of the medieval document.
