Support of export development of businesses in Podlaskie voivodeship in the cohesion policy

Summary/Abstract: The aim of cohesion policy is to reduce differences of level development by regions and the growth of competitiveness of firms. Investment financing from the operational programs has many advantages. With it one can grow their business through staff training, purchase of machinery innovation, introducing new products or services or already offered quality improvement. Among the companies in Podlasie there is a noticeable improvement of awareness of the opportunities posed by the structural funds, as evidenced by the results of the survey. The existence of operational programs is beneficial for the development of entrepreneurial traits among managers of firms.
