Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results from a case study undertook in five different pre-university education institutions in the County of Alba (Romania) which prefaced the implementation of the school-family-community partnership programs as far as it ensured the agreement between the programs and the particularities of each comprehensive or high school. Purpose and objective of the research was to find out the parents’ and teachers’ positions towards the changing nature of the school-family relationship within the democratic society. Data were analysed through hierarchical cluster analysis and multidimensional scaling, with the help of which we identified easier the tendencies of the subjects’ options and attitudes. In this way, the investigation revealed also the domains imposing a sustained activity of the Action Team for Partnerships set up in every school to implement the partnership programs.
