Summary/Abstract: Environmental changes in the life of any child cause changes in the child's behavior, including the adaptation to the new requirements. Extracurricular activities for students with special educational needs are vital for adapting social living conditions and integrating them successfully. Impossibility of social functioning is a trait associated with mental disability. Therefore, there is a need to identify extradidactic activities conducive to coordinating the child with them towards independent living and integration. Children with mental disabilities are part of the category of children with special education needs. The range of special requirements is wider and includes, in addition to the category "disabilities", two other categories: "difficulties" and "disadvantage".
