Summary/Abstract: This article highlights the importance of employee engagement for talent retention in a company. Research shows that a high level of employee engagement reduces the risk of them leaving the company. Within the scope of the study, factors of employee engagement were identified and hypotheses were formulated. Analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted based on surveys designed to measure the level of engagement and intent to leave by 395 employees from different departments of the enterprise. Additionally, the study showed that employee retention can be improved by focusing on several non-financial factors that do not require significant investments. These factors include clarity of goals and tasks, belief in leadership, opportunity for professional growth and development, work atmosphere and organizational culture, job security, and job significance. Thus, companies can use the research results to develop cuttingedge experience in retaining their top employees without significant financial investment. Such an approach not only reduces the risk of losing talent but also improves the company's effectiveness and competitiveness in the market. Ultimately, focusing on employee engagement can become a key element of a successful talent retention strategy in a company.
