Summary/Abstract: Along with the widespread use of the Internet, e-commerce has also developed and brought a new perspective to the concept of commerce, which has affected many aspects of commerce. The rise of e-commerce has led to a drastic change in the way consumers purchase products. With the convenience of online shopping, consumers are faced with a large amount of choices, making it difficult for them to decide which product to buy. As a result, product reviews and ratings have become an important source of information for consumers to make informed purchasing decisions. This study examines the influence of product reviews and ratings on consumer purchasing decisions. The study provides insights into the importance of product reviews and ratings in electronic commerce and their impact on consumer purchasing decisions. These findings have practical implications for businesses seeking to improve product sales and reputation. By realizing the importance of product reviews and ratings, businesses can encourage positive reviews and ratings from satisfied customers, which leads to increased sales and brand loyalty.
