Summary/Abstract: In the research, the effects of greenhouse gases emissions (GHG) on agriculture were theoretically investigated in the framework of the fact that causing global climate change. It has been emphasized that GHG not only reduce agricultural productivity, but also reduce the quality of food. This puts the population of the world, especially the least developed and developing countries, at risk of food shortages and insecurity. Then, the effect of greenhouse gas emissions per unit of GDP caused by anthropogenic factors on agricultural productivity was evaluated econometrically in the case of Azerbaijan. The database of the research consists of the official statistical data of the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan covering the years 2010-2020. Regression models reflecting the effect of the emission of GHG per unit of GDP on the total product of agriculture for the period covering the years 2010-2020 were implemented in the "Eviews" Application Software Package. At this time, the total output of agriculture was taken as the dependent variable, and the emission of GHG per unit of GDP was taken as the independent variable. The statistical significance of the parameters of the obtained econometric model was tested and the result was explained.
