Summary/Abstract: The yearly widespread use of the Internet has also affected forms of commerce. So, the continuous development of e-commerce is now turned to a reality. The time savings, the abundance of choice and the opportunities to take advantage of the delivery options of online shopping are undeniable. The greater uncertainty due to the lack of physical contact, however, in the context of e-commerce, whose market share is growing rapidly, necessitates the implementation of certain arrangements for the parties to carry out safe, easy and sustainable transactions. As a solution to the problem, there are certain legal regulations and established ethical values during shopping in the electronic environment as well as in traditional commerce, and the importance of following them in order to gain and protect the trust of consumers is on the agenda. In this study, the effect of ethical values and behavior in accordance with legal rules on consumer trust during electronic commercial activity was tried to be explained through the analysis of various literature. During the research, terms such as e-commerce, consumer behavior, ethics and law were defined and connected with each other, and then the analysis of these factors was carried out in the case of Azerbaijan.
