Summary/Abstract: Due to the development of information and communication technologies, the wide spread of the Internet, globalization, and the sharpening of the competitive environment, the countries of the world are rapidly entering electronic commerce. Electronic commerce is distinguished by the electronic transmission of data, services or payments, the automation of trade and business processes, and the use of other electronic services. Companies around the world are using e-commerce to improve their capabilities and business performance, thereby increasing their profits and saving most of their costs. For this reason, e-commerce increases the efficiency of production and other operations.This article analyzes the current state of ecommerce in Azerbaijan and how it affects companies. The main goal here is to find out the current state of e-commerce in our country, how it affects companies, and to investigate ways to solve problems related to this field. In research, statistical analysis, regression, correlation, etc. such analyzes were used. The information base of the research is made up of previous sources that have been investigated in relation to e-commerce, internet resources related to this field, and official websites where statistical information about Azerbaijan is recorded and etc.
