Summary/Abstract: The present article defines the dimensions of the modern concept of the intercultural education as constituted in key documents of European and International institutions. The dimensions of the intercultural education as a holistic educational paradigm have been described and the necessity of elaborating learning strategies for investing interculturalism in education has been defended.
