DOES THE NUMERAL TWELVE (DOUĂSPREZECE) STILL EXISTS IN ROMANIAN?

Summary/Abstract: The paper on the increasingly frequent presence in the current Romanian language of some distortions of the forms of the cardinal numeral aims to warn about the danger that threatens the Romanian language by tolerating these deviations from the norms of the Romanian literary language. Put into circulation, in particular, through television, the only form of "culturalization" for some Romanians, the incorrect forms of the cardinal numeral, but also many other errors, such as incorrect emphasis on proper names, absence of diacritics, abuse of neologisms, especially from English etc., etc. calls for strong attitudes to stop the phenomenon of national language degradation. Many of these mistakes, extremely common lately, do nothing but destroy the balance of the Romanian language, the beauty of this language, paying attention to its identity between the neo latin languages.
