Summary/Abstract: Astra-Bihor appeared in western Romania in Beiuș, at the end of the 19th century, in full Austro-Hungarian authority, contributing from a cultural, literary, religious point of view and last but not least musically to the promotion of authentic Romanian values., to the ethnic cohesion and especially to the triumph of the Romanians through art and autochthonous civilization in this part of the country. The present academic research reflects in its pages the interdependence between culture, religion and music, fully contributing to the affirmation of the Romanian ethos and through the perspective of religious music and cultural manifestations of the genre.
