Summary/Abstract: The regional policy of Hungary and that of Romania have two common features: on one hand both of the countries make efforts to connect their countries to the European regional system in order to harmonise the Central-East European aims of development with the concept of the regional policy of the EU. On the other hand it is a common aim to develop the countries and the regions as well. The aim of my research is to study the above mentioned common features and the cause and effect relationship of them as described below.
