Summary/Abstract: Purpose – The goal of this study is to define whether the collaboration between nurses has any effect on nurses' job performance. Design/methodology/approach – The population of this research, in which the descriptive research method was used, consists of nurses working in public hospitals located in the center of a province in the Central Anatolia Region. In this study, in which the convenience sampling method was used, the sample of the study consisted of 391 nurses who agreed to participate in the study. In the first part of the questionnaire used as a data collection tool in the research, the questions asked in order to determine the socio-demographic characteristics of the nurses, in the second part, "Nurse-Nurse Collaboration Scale" to determine the collaboration levels between nurses, and in the third part, “Job Performance Scale for Nurses” was used to determine the nurses' job performance levels. Analysis of the survey data was carried out using the SPSS 23.0 program. Findings – In this study, which was conducted to determine the effect of collaboration between nurses working in the public sector on the job performance of nurses, it was concluded that nurses' nurse-nurse collaboration and job performance levels of nurses were high. It has been determined that there is a positive and significant relationship between nurse-nurse cooperation and nurses' job performance. It was concluded that as the cooperation levels of the nurses increased, their job performance levels also increased. Discussion – It is thought that the development of collaboration between nurses, which has an important place among health professionals, has a positive effect on nurses' job performance, and this will indirectly be effective in increasing the quality of patient care provided by nurses.
