Points of Convergence and Divergence in Turkish and Russian Foreign Policies

Summary/Abstract: I want to shift to a different level of analysis: the points of convergence and divergence in foreign policies of both countries. Yesterday and today we have discussed at length various aspects of the relationship. So, I don’t want to reiterate those arguments which have already been advanced. I would like to talk a little bit about more general aspects; I will also go back to history a little bit because today’s problems, especially security problems, find their roots in history.
