Summary/Abstract: In this study, it is aimed to develop a valid and reliable conformity/conformism (conformist behavior) scale. As a result of the three-stage scale development process suggested by Schwab (1980), a 50-item proposition pool was created, presented to the opinion of 5 experts in terms of face and content validity, and 35 items were removed from the scale with the evaluations made. The obtained 15-item draft scale was applied to 216 white-collar employees working in the private sector. As a result of the statistical analysis, 5 more items that were thought to be incompatible with the scale integrity were removed from the model as well, and a 10-item, one-dimensional model/scale that explained 57.5% of the total variance was obtained during the evaluation of the scale. The analyzes showed that while conformism (conformist behavior) was negatively and significantly related to work engagement; there is a positive and significant relationship with turnover intention. The Cronbach alpha internal consistency coefficient for the entire scale was determined as .91. The results obtained prove that the developed conformism (conformist behavior) scale is statistically valid and reliable.
