The activities of the Gołuchów Cultural Center “Zamek” as an example of supporting regionalism in the local environment

Summary/Abstract: The article presents the activities of the Gołuchów Cultural Center „Zamek” as an institution supporting a number of activities for regionalism. Established ten years ago, the self-government cultural center is perceived in the community as an institution known for its various forms of activity, addressed to both young people and adults. The main objective is to protect and promote cultural heritage and build regional identity. This article presents various examples of completed tasks promoting the natural, tourist and historical values of the Gołuchów commune both in Poland and abroad. Particular attention was also paid to the publishing campaign conducted by the Gołuchów Commune Self-Government and GCK „Zamek”, which stands out from the activities of similar institutions in the Pleszew County and the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship.
