Summary/Abstract: Beyond the service of the Church and of his fellow men, Bartolomeu Anania never abandoned the realm of literature, so dear to him even since his early studies. Since 1978 he has been a member of the Romanian Writers 'Union, and in 1982 he was awarded the Dramaturgy Prize of the Romanian Writers' Union. Also, since November 22, 2010 he is an member of honor of the Romanian Academy. The excellent memorialist shows his qualities here too - so the "present" plan is the most vivid and successful - but unfortunately it is not doubled by an equally good fiction creator. The sacred phenomenon, Christian influences until the twentieth century are presented in religious poetry and biblical echoes. Confession, faith, then religious motives are influences of Christian values in connection with the great culture of the world. The word itself has a dual power; it may be good or bad, but it is morally neutral. It is man who gives it the moral dimension. In Valeriu Anania's vision, an important place is given to the earth, the sacred place from which the path to the absolute starts, the integration in universality. The memoirs, essayes, journal articles, diaries are the writings that the researcher gathers with the scope of probing the author's inner space.
