Summary/Abstract: G. Bacovia should be known not only through his verses, but also through the uniqueness of his prose. Quite little has been said about the Bacovian prose so far. It manages to amaze thanks to its symbols and myster. Can we talk about continuity with reference to the creative style? In my opinion, these texts need to be (re)valorised, as their technique still has no match. The atmosphere we discover in Bacovia's short prose reveals another creative voice of the author's. Despite not sranding for vast material, it stays luring via its charm. The Bacovian pessimism, frequently seen in poetry, loses some of its intensity. Different echoes of the Bacovian voice can be heard in his creation. Therefore, putting it in the headlights would be beneficial for Bacovia's writings to become thouroughly known, as this writer is mostly appreciated for his poetry and his prose has but insufficiently been valorised.
