Summary/Abstract: In this article, I will explore the knowledge process in the film industry, analyzing how Hegel’s philosophical thesis-antithesis-synthesis model applies to Hollywood producers, auteur cinema, and modern creative producers. I will use the Hegelian model to show how ideas evolve and develop through conflict and reconciliation, and how applying it to the film industry can provide a better understanding of how filmmakers develop their ideas and concepts, as well as how these evolve over time.
