Summary/Abstract: The present paper follows the work of D. Iacobescu. Although his literary activity only lasted about two years (because of his death from tuberculosis), his volume Quasi received posthum recognition. His poetries were indebted to models in French or Francophone literature. D. Iacobescu was especially influenced by the French symbolist forerunner, Paul Verlaine.
