Selected aspects of working with the family in the opinion of probation officers

Summary/Abstract: In the process of increasing the efficiency of the work of court appointed family probation officers, their views on their work are extremely important. Therefore, the aim of the article is to find out their opinions on selected aspects of tasks undertaken as part of their official duties. At the turn of 2020 and 2021, individual interviews were conducted with 13 family probation officers who shared their views on the positive and negative aspects of their work. They also referred to their sense of security, their professional role and the difficulties they encounter during a pandemic. The information obtained from the respondents is the basis for conducting quantitative research and proposing legislative changes.
