Summary/Abstract: The present article introduces hermeneutics and phenomenology's issue in Paul Ricoeur's work. In philosophy, the term phenomenology was consacrated as a science of consciousness phenomena. Husserl is who provides phenomenology value of ,,first philosophy" and denominates it as a research of intentional consciousness in the purpose of disclose the fundamental conditions establishing the objects of knowledge. Based on this matter, phenomenology gets to acquire consecration in contemporary philosophy. Paul Ricoeur's philosophy remains dependent on husserlianian phenomenology having to be a hermenautical alternative of this phenomenology, as the great thinker states.
