Summary/Abstract: The application of the folkloristic vision on the identification and interpretation of images, motifs, symbols, myths, prosodic structures, lyrical sequences, narrative conventions etc., intertextualized in writers' literary works by referring to their manifestation in the popular mentality is a new perspective adopted with reference to prose investigation. from Bessarabia (1960-1980), studied mainly in literary terms. The channeling of this approach on the vision of folklore research allowed the identification of folk ways of creation, of the substantial components of popular creation assimilated in plastic, as well as the interpretation of constituents as facts and acts of popular culture in constant updating, emphasizing the varied typology of ethnofolkloric constituents operated in modern studies. Therefore, the mechanisms of transfiguration of folk elements in literary works were revealed, depending on the literary orientations of the prose writers.
