Summary/Abstract: The present study aims to analyze the relationship between world literature and the Internet, both perceived as large systems with fluid borders, determining paradoxical approaches. The comparative analysis takes into account the structural profiles of world literature and the Internet, in an attempt to underline similarities between two systems using different semantic units in terms of inclusiveness, decentralization, accessibility, and open circulation of ideas or information. Also, the study will focus on the intersection between these systems discussing the position and functioning of world literature on the Internet.
