Summary/Abstract: Leonid Dimov is the representative poet of the Onereic Group and together with Dumitru Țepeneag he is also the theoretician of the Oneirist trend in Romanian literature. This study approaches the metaphysical dimension of some programmatically anti-metaphysical Dimovian poems, particularly the ars poetica poems composed of lucid constructs that create the impression of analogy with the dream world. We analyse, from the aesthetic oneirism viewpoint, the specificities of his poetry volumes, insisting on his ars poetica poems: Theory, Dilemma and The poem of essences.
