Summary/Abstract: This paper acknowledges the battle for the canon as an autonomy apparatus. Thus, we intend to evince both the two parts involved in the debate (the partisans and the detractors of the canon) and its conquests (the autonomy won, the new disciplines empowered, the openness acquired, the comprehensive world poem resulted, etc.)
