Summary/Abstract: Faced with a pandemic of the COVID-19 virus which broke out in early 2020, Algeria was forced to a general lockdown in all sectors in March 2020, particularly the sector of the national education, the higher education, higher training schools, and training and professionalization centers. After five months of school closure, the Ministries opted for online education. Teachers facing this new method of teaching had to adapt to it and each one had to find the best way, that was firstly accessible and easy for him/her and then they tested it with pupils and students. This was followed by a period of adaptation to new techniques and planning tools, and led to the establishment of an education system accessible to the majority.
