Summary/Abstract: Descendant of a clerical family, as was customary in the seventeenth to nineteenth centuries, Dimitrie Cioloca would also become a priest. But, unlike his priest predecessors, the young Dimitrie managed to write a beautiful page of history. The study brings to light the activity of the teacher and Priest Dimitrie Cioloca, and the contributions to the development of culture in the former capital of Mountainous Banat.
