CHURCH APOSTLESHIP AMONG YOUTH. CATECHETICAL EMERGENCIES

Summary/Abstract: There has always been a concern for educating youth. The Church in its turn preserves so many examples of young people having experienced problems similar to the contemporary ones, with some of them succeeding to attain perfection. Youth nowadays go through numerous and diverse problems and they need support and counseling from different perspectives. These considerations represent a strong reason for fulfilling a Christian apostleship among youth. In this regard, the Church has the appropriate means to cope with these catechetical emergencies, starting with the "living" example of the catechist, and continuing with individual pastoral care, support groups meetings, meetings with people that have the same needs, have overcome similar situations or lead a balanced life.
