Mediation within labor disputes

Summary/Abstract: The multitude and the complexity of labor relations inevitably determinesdisputes between the employee and the employer,disputes which until the emergence of Law no. 192/2006, were solved by the courts, according to the common law procedure, with the characteristics generated by the respective legal relations. Within the mediation of labor relations, the focus is on the reconciliation of the social relations and the solution is reached by means of an impartial and independent third person of the conflict arisen, by the exchange of ideas between the employer and the employee through the search of common viewpoints and not of the discrepancies, trying to resolve the litigation emerged or at least to contribute to improving the relations between these ones, using the procedure provided by the law.
